English Language Teacher - Seasonal Work and Holiday Jobs
Jobs are available worldwide for English Language Teachers, and many English
language institutions run summer courses requiring language teachers and
activity leaders. Teachers generally have EFL training, previous experience,
hold an English Language Teaching Qualification such as TEFL or TESOL or be
undergraduates on a language course.
If you would like to take a TEFL / TESOL courses, they are available in 280
centres in UK and worldwide and should include an opportunity to gain practical
language teaching experience. Courses may be full or part time, duration and
costs vary. Widely recognised certification includes Cambridge CELTA
(Certificate in English Language Teaching for Adults) and Cert TESOL awarded by
Trinity College London.
