Ski / Snowboard - Seasonal Work and Holiday Jobs
Qualified ski/snowboard instructors can find ski and snowboard jobs in Europe and North America during the northern hemisphere winter and in New Zealand and South America during the southern hemisphere winter. Winter ski work can include instructing ski/snowboard lessons, assisting on ski slopes, lift operators, slope patrols and general ski resort staff. Ski snowboard instructors working in a resort can expect free ski lift passes and enjoy the slopes and social scene during days off.
A number of organisations offer ski snowboard training and courses, would be instructors should seek a course offering an internationally recognised qualification.
Instructor jobs at European resorts can be arranged via a large ski tour operator or at the beginning of a season in a resort. To work at an American of Canadian winter resort a working holiday visa is required, placements can be arranged via a number of companies.
