Teaching English is a great way to live long term in Asia, interact on daily basis with locals and still make sufficient living.

Usual requirements:
-1+ year teaching experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- TEFL certificate (CELTA or equivalent preferred)
- Native English speaker.
- No criminal record.

To have the access to the best teaching positions, it is essential to commit to a year long program.

Usual package for the teacher that fulfills above criteria:
- Competitive salary, commensurate with qualifications and previous teaching experience. Avg: 6 000- 10 000 RMB/month.
- Vacation days based on Chinese holidays.
- The school will apply and pay for a working visa, work permit and residence permit

PART-TIME PRIVATE ENGLISH TEACHING

If you are a native English speaker and you want to stay in China less than a year but you do not posses a relevant certificate or do not have the relevant experience in teaching, you can become a private teacher.

Expected salary: from 100 RMB/ 60 minutes, no other benefits offered.

Number of hours/ week: 10-25.
