Summer Camp USA allows you to work as a camp counsellor in the most challenging and rewarding summer camp jobs you can imagine! As a camp counsellor at a US Summer Camp you spend 8-10 weeks living with and leading kids in beautiful surroundings. Your job is to teach amazing activities and help them have life-changing experiences.

Duration

8-10 weeks between June and August. You will then have 30 days to travel the United States after summer camp. As a Summer Camp USA participant you will get exclusive discounts with Trek America.

Costs / Benefits

Summer Camp USA Counsellors make the HIGHEST salary of all summer camp programs!:

* If you are aged 18-20 years: $US1,775
* If you are aged 21+ years: $US1,950
* If you are a returning counsellor you are free to negotiate your own
salary with the camp directly, salaries are typically US$2,200 or
more.

Requirements

Summer Camps need staff with a range of backgrounds and experience. However, you are likely to be eligible for Summer Camp USA if you:

* Are aged between 19-35 years (18 year olds will be considered if
they can show excellent leadership experience and have great
skills)
* Have experience with working with kids
* Able to leave New Zealand for the USA between start of May and
mid June
* Able to commit to a Camp for 8-10 weeks
* Energetic and adaptable team player

Summer Camps are particularly interested in employing New Zealanders in key areas including swimming, water skiing, kayaking, sailing, mountain biking, gymnastics, rock climbing, ropes, lifegaurding, canoeing, sailing, horse riding and more!
