'Working Holidays Abroad', an initiative of the Charities Advisory Trust, gives income and support to host NGOs and guarantees that volunteers on the placements provide much needed assistance without displacing local workers.

About 'Working Holidays Abroad'

Unlike other volunteering organisations, 'Working Holidays Abroad', an initiative of the Charities Advisory Trust, has been set up to assist local charities with already established projects, which require external skills and knowledge. Through the Good Gift catalogue, the brainchild of the Charities Advisory Trust, our small team has formed strong links with local charities, which have approached us to create 'Working Holidays Abroad'. The provision of necessary support to these transparent and community focused organisations is now central to our philosophy.

Through going on a ‘Working Holidays Abroad’ genuine bonds may be formed with the local community as you have the chance to live and work closely together.
